This Privacy Policy explains how MyStar, operated by TechAdoptionGroup LLC ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MyStar website and mobile apps (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, username, and password (passwords are stored only as secure hashes).
  • Activity data: mining sessions, points earned, referrals, content you follow, notifications you open, and in-app game activity.
  • Optional information you provide: a public blockchain wallet address, social handles you choose to verify, and identity-verification (KYC) data if you choose to complete it.
  • Device and usage data: device push tokens, app version, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate the Service, calculate points and rewards, and run referrals and leaderboards.
  • To send you notifications you have opted into.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, including verifying that rewards are not farmed by duplicate or fake accounts.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo (push notifications), Vercel (hosting), and Google AdMob (advertising in the mobile app). KYC, if offered, is handled by a third-party identity-verification provider. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

4. Points, rewards, and tokens

Points earned in the Service have no cash value and are not a financial instrument. Any future token distribution is at our discretion, may require identity verification, and is subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law.

5. Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and optional account protections such as two-factor authentication, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update your account details in Settings, disable notifications at any time, and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
